A Minute
In History

A Minute In History is a video series from the Venango Museum exploring the people, places, and moments that shaped the Oil Region.

From the oil boom to the stories that followed, each episode offers a brief look at this region's history, one minute at a time.

A Minute in History originally began as a short-form video series sharing stories from Venango County’s past. In 2026, the series will be reimagined with a new format and expanded storytelling approach. Earlier versions of the episodes have been retired as part of this transition.
