The Best Sandwich In The County Contest

‘Best Sandwich in the County’ entry cards are now on sale!

The Venango Museum is hosting the competition to determine which local restaurant in Venango County, Pennsylvania, makes the ‘Best Sandwich in the County’! The contest returns for its ninth year in 2025, from June 1 to August 31.

This is a fundraiser for the Museum.

Last year’s contest winner was Stiller's Meats & Smokehouse.

Customers can purchase an entry card at the front desk at the Museum (270 Seneca Street, Oil City) for $10.00, which allows them to try one of each of all the sandwiches entered into the contest at 50% OFF! (one per person per restaurant, please).

After trying all the sandwiches they like, customers can vote for their favorite by returning their entry card to the Museum by mail or dropping it off.

For a chance to win a $50 gift card to the winning restaurant: (1) visit AT LEAST 6 participating restaurants and try their sandwich entry at 50% OFF (2) get your purchases certified by the restaurants on this entry card (3) vote for your favorite sandwich on the line to the right (4) put your name and the best phone number to contact you by on the reverse side of this card. Winner of the $50 gift card will be announced and notified after the winning restaurant is announced in October 2025.
